Our ‘Morning Urgent Clinic’ is open from 9.00am to 10.30am each day.
This is available for patients with an urgent medical condition. That is a sudden or severe illness which need prompt medial attention. The clinic is very busy and we are only able to deal with the immediate problem.
The following conditions are not appropriate at our morning Urgent Clinic
- Requests for sick lines
- General medicals
- Long term chronic conditions such as chronic pain
- Mental health problems
- Requests for repeat medication including contraceptives
- Prescription reviews
Normal appointments should be made for these types of problems.
If you arrive after 10.30am you will not be seen. Patients will normally be seen in the order that they book in but doctors may see a patient with an urgent appointment first. The doctor can only deal with one problem at this Clinic. If you have several problems please make a routine appointment.
Please make a separate appointment for each person to be seen. Some patients have problems, which may take longer than the 10-minute appointment.
Please be patient if you have to wait a while!
